Local Governors

Leesha Whawell, Chair

Leesha is a parent of a Year 6 child at our school. She joined the local governing board in 2019 and was appointed vice-chair as we transitioned from being a single academy to be part of our current multi-academy trust, BPET. She is now the Chair of the Local Governing Board.

Leesha is a criminal barrister, defending and prosecuting cases throughout the South East of England. When not at work she enjoys being with her family, going to the theatre and making fondant icing cake toppers.

Aden Kwok

Aden joined the local governors in 2023. He has a background in biomedical science and works in academia, facilitating research using electronic health records from millions of patients. He is a STEM Ambassador and the President of the Alumni Association at the academy where he pursued his secondary education.

Sarah Barnard

Sarah Joined the governing body in December 2024 and is an Assistant Headteacher and SENDCo at a Berkshire primary school

Lydia Ball

Lydia is a teacher at a local primary school and joined our governing body in February 2025
